IMPORTANT INFORMATION – NEW APPOINTMENT SYSTEM

NHS England Plan to Make It Easier for Patients to see their GP

You may have seen or heard in the news about NHS England’s plans for patients to be offered an appointment with their GP within 2 weeks, if the appointment is not urgent. This will not apply to Nurse or Health Care Assistant appointments. We will continue to offer on the day appointments for urgent queries and signpost to the relevant service based on clinical information.

We are aware how difficult it has been to book appointments over the last few months and hopefully with the new system in place it will be easier to get an appointment with your GP.

In the next few weeks Cowfold and Partridge Green Surgeries will be transitioning towards this new appointment system.  We would appreciate your kindness and understanding while our Reception team try to navigate this. 

We ask for your patience going forward as it is going to be difficult to find appointments within the 2 week timescale initially as we clear the backlog of appointments that are already in place. Going forward we hope this will make it easier to book an appointment at both Cowfold and Partridge Green Surgeries. Thank you for your understanding.
