Blood, Urine and X-ray Results Your doctor will normally advise you how long it takes for test results to arrive back in the practice. Please call between 12 noon and 1.00pm for any results of tests performed by your doctor.
Appointments Please call at the reception or telephone during office hours only or log on to your EMIS Access and book on line. For ROUTINE appointments or queries about results, please avoid telephoning between 8.30 a.m. and 10.30 am. It is usually much easier to telephone the surgery in the afternoon.

MB ChB, MRCGP, DRCOG, DCH Qualified 1999. Dr Carter runs surgeries at both Cowfold and Partridge Green. Dr Carter usually works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
BMBS, DFSRH, MRCGP Qualified 2008. Dr Webb runs surgeries at both Cowfold and Partridge Green surgeries. Dr Webb usually works on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
MBBS (Lon) BSc(Hons) MRCGP Qualified 1999. Dr Murphy is a GP with a special interest in Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine. Dr Murphy usually works on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Susanne Packham has recently joined the practice as an advanced nurse practitioner in support of the GP team, seeing minor illnesses and prescribing for basic ailments. She also has a specialist respiratory interest. For some conditions you may be directed to her rather than a GP. She usually works most days.
RGN RSCN DN. Jane runs surgeries at both Partridge Green and Cowfold. Jane is the Practice Diabetes Specialist Nurse. She usually works on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The Health Care Assistants run clinics at both Cowfold and Partridge Green Surgeries. They perform routine blood tests & INRs, blood pressure checks, 24 hour ABPM, ECG's, smoking cessation advice, spirometry, removal of stitches, ear irrigation & B12 & shingles injections, and a variety of other nursing services.
Mrs Anna Harrison is our Practice Manager and manages all operational aspects of the practice. She may be able to assist with any administrative or non-medical aspects of the practice and welcomes suggestions for improvements. Her office is at Cowfold Surgery but she makes sure there is a desk available for her at Partridge Green as well! Due to the comprehensive remit managers cover, including meetings away from the practice, please make an appointment before attending to ensure timely availability for your convenience. Anna is usually at Cowfold on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
Reception staff are available at all times when the surgery is open to make appointments and deal with your enquiries. When telephoning for medical attention the Receptionist will ask you for an indication of the problem so that we can help you in the most appropriate way. Our receptionists are trained and bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and nurses.

Lucy is the Clinical Pharmacist at Cowfold and has trained at hospitals across Surrey and Sussex for the last eight years. She has also completed a clinical pharmacy diploma and is an independent prescribing pharmacist meaning that she can prescribe medications and review on-going need for each medicine. Lucy has a specialist interest in respiratory medicine.
Her role within general practice is patient facing to provide clinical medicine leadership both in running pharmacist practice clinics and supporting general practice staff. Lucy aims to:
The midwife provides shared care and advice during the antenatal and postnatal periods. She may be contacted at the Maternity Office, Horsham Hospital 01403 227000 ext 7134. An antenatal clinic is held on Tuesday afternoons at Cowfold surgery. Contact Reception for an appointment.
The District Nurses provide nursing treatment and advice to our housebound patients and those recently discharged from hospital. They mey be contacted on 01293 228311. This is provided by One Call.
Cowfold Medical Group are part of Horsham South Healthy Child Programme (HCP) who provide services from pregnancy to age 19.
The HCP team can support children, young people and families with a variety of issues including:
The HCP team consist of Specialist Community Public Health Nurses (nurses/midwives with an additional degree level qualification in public health and often referred to as health visitors and school nurses), registered nurses, nursery nurses, school health assistants and administrative support.
